📄️ System Configuration Overview
The Configuration menu, located within the ABCD Central module's Administration area, is the heart of the system's customization. From here, you can control nearly every aspect of the software's behavior, appearance, and functionality.
📄️ Operators and Access Profiles
A crucial step in configuring your ABCD instance is setting up user accounts (Operators) and defining their permissions through Access Profiles. This ensures that each team member has the appropriate level of access to perform their duties from the very beginning.
📄️ Appearance and Languages
ABCD allows for extensive customization of its visual identity and the internationalization of its interface directly from the Central Module's administration area. These settings are managed through the System settings (abcd.def) file.
📄️ Database Management (bases.dat)
The bases.dat file is a plain text file that controls which databases are displayed in the dropdown list of the ABCD Central Module's main menu. Managing this file allows you to add new databases to the interface, hide existing ones, or change their display order.
